Yachtsman sets sail for solo around-the-globe voyage

OSAKA, Japan - Japanese yachtsman Ikuo Tateo, 59, leaves Miwazaki port in Shingu, Wakayama Prefecture, for a solo, around-the-world yacht trip without making any port calls. Tateo, a native of Sakai, Osaka Prefecture, hopes to complete the 50,000-kilometer journey in 300 days, returning home next June.
